How to Stay Sane During the Holidays…

The holidays can be a crazy time!

Owning a creative handmade business can offer even more craziness.

Keep your sanity in check by performing at least one of these things ONCE A DAY – most definitely throughout the holidays, but I have found that they help throughout the year, too.

Some of these things are easy enough to do; others will take a bit more effort on your part.

But trust me-they work 🙂

So, hang up your free poster somewhere obvious and choose something to do at least once a day. You’ll feel better…

Happy (sane) Holidays to you all!

Geri xx

Do you have any other mantras that de-stress you easily?  I’d love to hear them in the comments!

PS from the editor:  I’ve been on some crazy deadlines (& sadly not sleeping more yet!) so if you are looking for our next Community Critique post it is coming up Friday, November 30th! xo Jess

Love these – especially “Be kind to a stranger. Just because.” It’s so easy to overcommit this time of year and get caught up in frenetic activity of shopping and planning because it’s what’s expected of us. I find deliberate acts of kindness to people who might be forgotten – like the super-busy postal workers, or gas attendants out in the cold all day (if you live in NJ and don’t pump your own gas!) – help ground me and remind me of the true spirit of the season.

You’re so right, Beth! I find a little nudge to keep me on track with these “little” things helps make my days brighter, which hopefully then makes other’s brighter, too 😉
