The Marmalade Moon Story
As a creative entrepreneur you pour all your creativity and most of your energy into your business. And you feel so lucky! You’re doing what you love. How could you possibly complain?
But lets’ face it, a few years down the line you feel strangely dissatisfied. Something’s missing. Because what happened to that spontaneous, playful creativity? Creative expression just for you? Not on a deadline. Not for approval. Not to be shipped and packed and invoiced. Just for you.
That’s how I felt a few years after I started my tiny design studio, Marmalade Moon. And I loved my job! It wasn’t that, it was just that I needed a creative playground. A laboratory. A personal, creative outlet.
Ta-da! This was when the iPhone entered my life, and I discovered that I could use it to harness my creativity on the go! This art form could stretch to fit any time slot I had available and it didn’t create a mess to be cleaned up when I was finished. Once you’ve got the device, the apps are inexpensive. For small business owners, iPhoneography can serve double purpose, both as a creative expression and as illustrations on your blog. Mobile art and photography makes creativity easily available to everyone and it’s very exciting to be part of a brand new art form!
Today Marmalade Moon has evolved into being a tiny design studio and host a series of courses for mobile art and photography. Getting Started with iPhoneography is a 2 week ecourse perfect to start with. In Creative iPhoneography you can dig deeper into iPhoneography with 4 weeks to reclaim your creative time and uncover your unique expression – with your iPhone. Here you can get an overview of my online courses for mobile art and photography and find out more about what we’ll cover. Check out the student art show with amazing iPhoneography created by my students and discover more tips, apps and techniques on my blog.
Mobile devices open the doors to a new kind of contemporary creativity, where you can express yourself creatively as you move through your day. Adding a creative layer to your life with the tool that’s already in your pocket. I’m excited to share this with you and happy to give away one spot for Getting Started with iPhoneography.

What an inspirational course. I love my iphone and that I always have it with me in case of a beautiful moment worth capturing. But I would really like to lern more about the possibilities I have with it.
I don’t always carry my camera around since it’s kind of bulky, but I always have my iPhone on hand. I’d love to get new ideas for photographing for my blog!
