I am super excited to help Jessika celebrate her 1 year anniversary with OMHG. I first discovered OMHG about 6 months ago and was blown away at all of the great information and support this blog brings to not only the handmade community but small women owned businesses everywhere. Jessika puts her heart and soul into this blog and she inspires me constantly (just check out our weekly chats on Twitter if you don’t believe me). I wanted to put together something a little festive and fun for her…to say thank you and happy blogiversary!
There is nothing in life (besides my children and maybe my husband) that is better than cupcakes. A perfect little cake for one. With the Summer heat hitting nearly 100 degrees where I am, I had to come up with something that was refreshing…a little different than the typical cupcake. I scoured the internet trying to come up with different combinations when I ran across a recipe for strawberry lemonade cupcakes. While these would have been perfect, I happened to have a coupon for raspberries that I needed to use so I decided to change things up a bit. Oh it was a good decision…they are so tart, sweet and refreshing all at the same time.
The icing was so good that the kids literally licked the bowl clean (the entire bowl…like absolutely nothing left). And of course, you can’t have cupcakes without some decoration so I came up with a cute retro pattern and designed a cupcake stand and matching toppers to go with them. You will get everything you need for a raspberry lemonade cupcake party in a downloadable PDF. These would be perfect for a Summer baker sale or little girl’s birthday party. I hope you enjoy!
{editor’s note: Lisa made us an awesome 4 page download but it was larger then I could upload here. If you want the full document just email me!}
