It’s with mixed emotions that I’ve recently decided I can no longer continue running OMHG. I’ve really been enjoying the community that has formed here, and I’m so proud of what we’ve created. Unfortunately, I never realized how time consuming it would be, and with two full-time jobs already (running sarah + abraham in addition to being a stay-at-home-mom), I’ve been feeling like something has to give.
I’d love to see OMHG continue… if you’re interested in purchasing this blog, please contact me. In the meantime, it will become a fully archived site. All of the content will remain available, but it’ll no longer be updated until someone else is able to take over.
Thank you to all of the contributors and readers for making OMHG such a fun and rewarding project!

Oh, no!!!!!!!! Really????
Don’t you want to continue on a weekly basis, instead of daily?????
I really appreciate your articles…
please, think twice! 😉 It’s not only about the space, it;s about the content! You know, unlike others, how to share good information…
Thank you Sara for starting something truly amazing. I loved being part of it, even for a brief time.
I know you are making the right decision.
I hope someone can buy the site, wish I could!
I just came across your website no so long ago and I find it increadible useful and beautiful.
I am sure you are making the right decision, hopefully someone else with the same talent and dedication will take over.
All the best!
Sara, thanks again for the chance to share all my finds on Oh My! Handmade Goodness. It has been a true pleasure working with you and letting my shopping addiction continue onto the pages of this blog. -No worries, you know I will still be an avid Sarah & Abraham shopper- as that is how we originally met! xoxo Marla aka Keeping up with Stella.
oh i’m so sad! i don’t usually comment…but i’m an avid reader and have loved the content of this blog. great job giving us some good information and fun things to look at!! i hope someone can pick it up and continue it! 🙂
Oh I’m sad too! But completely understand. I truly hope someone just as wonderful can take over. This blog has such a fantastic vibe and I’ve loved (and still do!) being a reader!
*WOW! is all I can say….The blog has such great content someone with step up.
I am saddened to hear this, but totally understand where you are coming from. Best wishes on finding a new owner. They will have some pretty big shoes to fill! You have created an amazing resource with a cutting edge wealth of information. You will be missed!!
This blog has helped me SO MUCH, and I look forward to your new posts every day, because they answer so many of my questions as a small business owner. But I can barely keep up with a small business and my own three kids, so I definitely know where you’re at. And you’re choosing the most important thing. You only get one chance to raise your kiddos – do it right! We will MISS you!!! Best wishes.
I am hoping and praying someone will pick this blog up. And to do my part I am blasting about the sale out there in the blogosphere and FB…I will miss m morning coffee read! You did such an amazing job.
Thank you!
Carla – thank you for your comment! Believe me, I’ve given this A LOT of thought, and I’ve really struggled with it, but I’m confident that I’ve made the best decision. It’s not just the number of hours per week, but it’s also the mental energy.
I’ve been so focused on OMHG for the past several months that I really haven’t been giving any of my creativity or mental energy to sarah + abraham… no new products, no marketing, just filling orders and then spending the rest of my time on OMHG.
It was a really hard decision because OMHG is a great fit for me and my skill set… planning, organizing, editing, etc. For someone who struggled for so long to figure out what to do with myself and what type of business to start, it’s really hard to let go.
I think sarah + abraham and OMHG are both great businesses and each one is a perfect fit for me, I just can’t allow myself to do either one of them halfway.
Thank you for all the kind words… I really appreciate it! And please spread the word – I would truly love to see OMHG continue!
I know how difficult it must be for you to make this decision. You have done an amazing job with this site and I’ve completely enjoyed everything you have shared and posted on OMHG. I wish you continued success with everything you do. I really hope there is an interested buyer for this blog and would be able to keep up the fabulous content and benchmark you’ve set. Sincere wishes and prayers for you and your family, Stacy
You’ve done such an amazing job with OMHG but I can only imagine how much work it is. I hope that someone will continue the terrific place you started.
Sara,
I’m so sad to hear the news but totally understand. OMHG is awesome. This is one of my favorite blogs. I’m just starting out with my own business and have learned so much from your blog. Thanks so much for the time you have put into it. It is truly appreciated by myself and others. Thanks for being so open in sharing all your tips you’ve learned about starting/running a business. Good luck to your continued success and I hope OMHG can find another home. You are really a nice and talented person!! Thanks also to all the other people who contribute to this blog!
You have created a great thing here and I really hope that someone with the time and energy can continue this. I am new to your site and have really enjoyed it. I understand and respect your decision.
You will be greatly missed…what an amazing community you’ve built. I completely understand not having the time…I truly hope it works out to have this blog continue with someone else. A huge thank you for taking your website design win and turning it into something that helped so many others instead of just using it yourself. You’re an amazing person and I’m still a Sarah + Abraham follower!!! Best wishes…
You are a wise woman. I 100% respect and admire your decision. Family first is a good way to go!
Blessings,
Linsey
What?!??! Yes I understand…but WHAT?!?! I feel like we were only just starting to get to know each other…(well me knowing you…its one of those one sided infatuations!) …I made a similar decision a few years ago so I know where it is coming from….All the best to you, and THANK YOU for the short time I had reading your blog…
Sara,
You’ve put together an amazing resource with OMHG and I am honored I got to be a small part of it. Until someone steps in, I will miss the posts. I’ll spread the word on my blog that it’s for sale.
xx,
Whitney
i would so buy this but i do not think i could be as creative as you are! but i am interested!
you will be missed 🙂
It its a WONDERFUL site!
THANK YOU for your dedication in making this place so beautiful and useful!
I wish you ALL the best!!!
xo,
ishtar
What a big and brave decision to make, Sara. Well done! Although, like the 21 comments before mine, I’ll be sad to see you go. Being a mum, running my own invitation business and launching a new ready-to-order stationery line, I completely understand where you are coming from! I think we have to remind ourselves that we choose to run our own business, working from home to enable to spend more time with our family. We can often take on too much so your decision is a very smart one. Like me, you’d rather do one think well as opposed to two things half heartedly. Good luck with your boys and sarah + abraham! V xx
You’ve done a great job but I’m sure it’s been really time consuming. Good for you for knowing when to say “when”. Thank you for all of the wonderful articles. Have a great summer!
You will be missed Sara. What a wonderful website this is and looking forward to reading about your new adventures later this summer.
