About Joy & her work:
After teaching elementary school for nine years, working at our local public library and being a mom to a toddler (plus, another little one coming anytime soon) now keeps my schedule very full. In the wee hours of the night, you can find me doodling and creating vector art. Find out more about me on my blog – http://CreativeMamma.com or my etsy shop – http://TheArtOfJoy.etsy.com
Growing up in the Philippines, I was in love with Hello Kitty and her friends! Now, I’m inspired by anything kawaii (japanese for cute) and I really enjoy doodling/creating vector art with this particular style. But, my greatest source of inspiration is my family. My husband is great at coming up with ideas for me to try, and my little guy inspires me to make cute things for him to use.
Joy is also inspired by the work of:
