October Theme: Challenge Your Creativity!

Saturday, October 1, 2011 by Jessika Hepburn

challenge your creativity

Woohoo, Happy October! Fasten your seat belts and hang on, this month we are going to unleash our creativity through challenges, contests, tutorials and posts on how to kick start your creative spark. From contemplation to taking risks we’re sharing the ways that we turn on our mojo and find inspiration, as well as how to get creative in your business life and bring new moxie to your website, product listings and marketing. I hope you will join us as we explore how each one of us can challenge our creativity.

A few fun bonuses

Giveaways: I will be giving away 5 copies of Cultivate Your Creativity to commenters throughout the month. If I think you need a bit of inspiration you just might find a copy sitting in your inbox! So be sure to let me know in the comments of this post or others why you need to challenge (or cultivate) your creativity.

New ways to be featured on Oh My! Handmade: I will no longer be running giveaways or interviews for people who are not contributors or advertisers with the exception of a few big yearly giveaways (just you wait we are cooking up something amazing for this year’s holiday giveaway). Instead I will be offering ways for readers to get involved with our community by submitting to certain categories or themes.

This month you can link to your creative tutorials, art, workspace or handmade products in the comments and I will choose some to share throughout the month. Or you can submit your story for our Meeting the Makers category (submission details here).

I can’t wait to add more ways for you to get involved and share your stories here on OMHG!
