Oh My! Handmade 2013 Happy Healthy Entrepreneur Planner

Happy Thanksgiving to all our friends in the United States! Here in Canada I’ve been planning ahead for 2013 and looking at the gigantic load of blessings I have to be thankful for in 2012. Out of this came the decision to make the coming year the happiest, healthiest, most goodness filled of all and of course I want to do it hand in hand with you dear creative friends! 2012 has been fan-freaking-tastic in so many ways but I haven’t always been the greatest boss or paid enough attention to my own health. This entrepreneurship gig we’ve taken on is no easy task and being accountable to ourselves only works if we are good bosses!

My poor body has kept up with my mind for nearly a decade of self-employment without fail *knockonwood*. I’ve mostly survived on coffee and determination while I’ve busied myself with joyful world domination + parenting and haven’t spent much time thinking about maintaining my body for any length of time. Sure I intend to do better but pretty soon I get caught up in an idea and come up for air a few months later wondering what the heck just happened. Then I take super good care of myself for a few months…until my next great idea or amazing opportunity. Since my body rarely went on strike I kept pushing until the last year when I started struggling with feeling unwell on a regular basis. I recently learned there is a possibility I may have a chronic illness I can manage by being smarter with how I prioritize my health. It isn’t for sure, and I have to wait until May to see a specialist, but I’m not taking any chances. I’ve already been making lots of choices that lead to a happier, healthier, and generally more awesome me but I wanted something I could use to keep me on track daily that would be fun to share with our community.

Oh My! Handmade 2013 Happy Healthy Entrepreneur Planner

The 2013 Happy Healthy Entrepreneur Planner is my gift to creative entrepreneurs everywhere and an early birthday present for myself. It is a gentle push to remind us of the importance of finding our own dynamic equilibrium-a flow between expansive busy business and contemplative practice. Part loving reminder to care for ourselves and part kick in the pants to get our to-do’s done, my hope is that all 100+ pages of colourful printable goodness act as a support to help us plan our year. From remembering to drink water everyday, to tracking where we put our precious hours, to all those pesky to-do’s & to-pick-ups, this is my way of giving you and your business a little hug and helping hand every day of 2013.

What is inside the 2013 Planner:

  • A guide to our monthly focus words for 2013

Care/Carry/Cure an essay from ‘You Care Too Much’

In June of 2016 I supported my love Chris as we dealt with the death of both his parents and a co-worker over a three week period. This essay written the summer of those deaths is my attempt to make sense of grief and the struggle to carry all that I care for. Originally published […]
