Love Story: A Letter to My Family

Tuesday, February 14, 2012 by Jessika Hepburn

love letter to my family, oh my handmade

I have to admit, this post stumped me for a bit. How to share my love for my family without writing an epic essay? I’ve been seeing fun animated gifs from folks like Bri Emery & Pugly Pixel so I was inspired to get creative and write this letter in pictures. I still feel like I could have added a thousand more frames but I tried to get to the heart (ha) of our story and our love. I see life and love like a hand-me-down quilt, pieces of memories stitched together with care and some tears. It isn’t perfect or new but its mine and I am fiercely passionate about it, moth holes, stains and all.

There have been times in my life when I felt unloved/unlovable and I am sure there will be again- my greatest wish is that each of us feels and is loved every moment of every day. Happy Love Day friends, today and the other 364 days of the year!
