Do you follow colour trends when creating for your business? Do you get inspired by Pantone’s Colour of the Year? As I’m sure you know, the colour of choice for 2013 is Emerald.
I’m rather partial to Emerald (especially in comparison to 2012’s Tangerine Tango) but that might have something to do with being a May baby. It’s great to see my birthstone getting so much recognition! And, since I’m so partial to this year’s colour, I thought I’d round up some gorgeous handmade Emerald Green items for you.
Will you be adding Emerald and other green tones to your 2013 collections? If you already have green items, have you considered editing your product descriptions and keywords to include Emerald? I bet it’ll be a hot search term this year!
green has been a color i’ve always stayed away from, but i think this gorgeous collection has given me the courage to give it a chance in both my wardrobe and my knitting designs!
Green is my favorite color so I’m loving this!! I always like to use green in my products for sure.
I love that emerald is the color this year, especially with that new Oz movie coming out! It’s eerie or fun or whatever. I love it!
ahhhh, so my teal obsession for the last year makes sense–three cheers for the collective colour consciousness!
Love all your selections. Perfectly showcased. Green is my favorite color. Lime or emerald, I am in.
I didn’t know emerald was the color for 2013. I already have a Pinterest board called What is the Color Green so now I’ll go and start updating it. thank you for this 🙂
Britney, Sarah, Renae, Dyana, Colleen & Robbie – thanks so much for taking the time to leave a comment! So nice to know I’m not alone in my love for green – at least until a new hot colour is revealed for 2014! 😉
Oh, I didn’t know that was the color of the year, but I love it and am definitely going to incorporate it into my art and design. And I have a few pieces in my Etsy shop I can tag Emerald. Thanks for the tip!
Yipeee, three cheers for emerald, love this colour. Thanks for the tip, i just updated keywords for some of my illustrations in my Etsy shop (www.bumpkin.etsy.com) Catherine x
Thank you for the tip, Marisa! Emerald is one color that we don’t have in our shop – I’ll have to get crackin’ on that one. I have green eyes, so I love this rich green color – especially when I wear it as it makes my eyes just pop!
I LOVE Walter Helena Photography! Nadine’s images are so seductive – rich & mysterious. I was lucky enough to interview her on my blog a little while ago – http://tractorgirl.com.au/?p=2800.
And I love green, in all its wonderful variations – mint to emerald to olive. Thanks for sharing your finds 🙂
Kimberly / Bumpkin – great to hear you’ll be adding some Emerald tags to your shops!
Nanako – hurray for green eyed girls – though mine are a bit more on the greenish hazel side [they were once described as dill pickle / swamp water – he didn’t stand a chance 😉 ]
Julie – thanks so much for the link to your interview with Nadine. I loved reading about the story behind the photos.
Love this. I am going to pin this to http://pinterest.com/wforwellbeing/emerald-green-for-wellbeing/ – I have shared many different Emerald Etsy items on there.
