About the Artist:

Sweet Harvey‘s owner/artist, Brandi Powell, earned her BA in Graphic Design from Grand View University. Along with her studies in graphic design she focused on illustration and fine art. Always more interested in creating imagery, her time is now focused primarily on illustration and printmaking.

Simple, modern, fresh and a bit whimsical would describe the style of her work. Original character creation and spot illustration are her subjects of choice.

Her illustration work is mainly created as Vector art which allows her illustrations the most versatility. She also works traditionally on canvas with acrylic on canvas.

Sweet Harvey Letterpress was founded as another opportunity to share her original illustration work. Letterpress printing allows her to combine her modern illustrations with vintage printing techniques to create a truly unique product for her clients. Every item is individually letterpress printed on our antique printing press or individually screenprinted by hand.
