Our second to last Handmade Holidays Showcase, featuring Magpie Patterns, is the perfect follow up to yesterday’s post on my ideas about holiday giving. Amy of Magpie Patterns has collected a nest full of the shiniest patterns, books & craft projects to sew, knit, crochet and embroider in her online store.  Magpie Patterns is an absolute paradise for the crow girl in me-I could spend hours (and have!) coveting everything and finding inspiration to get crafty. See for yourself:

So many wonderful things to make and give!  Since Christmas is just around the corner, have you been thinking about any of your crafty friends near and far who you might have forgotten to send a card or gift too? Wouldn’t it be brilliant to send them one (or more) of the many PDF patterns available from Magpie? They are available for download as soon as your payment is processed making them the best last, last, last minute gift of all time.  I know I would love to get an email from a friend with a pattern as a small thoughtful gift, so much better then a Christmas card!

Amy also carries lots of patterns by independent artists and designers, so if you have made a pattern that you think should be sold in her shop learn how to submit it here. For craft ideas, tutorials, free patterns and more, be sure to visit the Magpie Patterns blog, the Crafty Bird. You can also follow @MagpiePatterns on Twitter to stay up to date with new patterns-your project basket will never be empty again!

There are only TWO days left to enter yourself & five charities/causes in our Oh My! Handmade Holidays giveaway for the chance to win one of two baskets filled with $950 in prizes, including patterns from Magpie Patterns!
