Handmade Home Decor: Inspiration in the Office

Monday, January 24, 2011 by Jessika Hepburn

by Courtney Dial of Pizzazzerie

Hi Oh My Handmade Goodness readers! I’m excited to be a new monthly contributor and look forward to bringing you fresh and fun party ideas, business advice, and more! We’re all about inspiration this month so I wanted to share with you one of my major sources of inspiration – art prints!

I am the type of person who jots down a meaningful quote or inspirational message when I hear it. However, a stack of post-it notes and receipts with phrases on them makes for a messy desk (and that does the opposite of inspire me). So I fill my office (and other nooks of my home) with inspirational art prints. Many of them can be printed right at home and easily framed in a cute frame! You certainly don’t have to buy one either, just open word and get typing away on your favorite inspirational quote. One of my favorites is “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you’ve imagined,” by Henry David Thoreau.

You can click here to get the full sized jpg of the art print above so you can print it for your own office!

If you fill your office with inspirational messages, I truly believe it will help clear the clutter and focus your mind and body to what is truly important in life. I hope you will get inspired to decorate your office and home with inspirational art prints!

I wanted to share some I found on etsy that inspire me!
