Jason Fried is the cofounder of 37 Studios which develops Basecamp, a must have communication/organizational tool for many companies, so I thought this was an apt sentiment for our theme of DIY Branding and design:

Good to think about, right? The goal of being proactive rather than reactive can be a good check when we’re developing branding for our companies. Are your designs forging ahead with your customers in mind, or is your branding trying to outdo your competition’s?
