MerryMakers2014

Lettering by Shauna Lynn Panczyszyn for OMHG

Happy November friends, it’s time to celebrate all the ways we make merry for our second annual Merry Makers theme! Warm yourself by our community fireplace as we share stories of merriment & good cheer. This month on OMHG we will be filling the internets with merriness as we gather to share stories, recipes, tutorials + inspiration to help us all have a joyful season full of magical moments. We have some fun treats planned like more features on our MakerMail contributors, a Community Colouring Book challenge & weekly gift guides! For many the holidays are a happy time of focusing on being kinder and more present for the people we love, giving back to our communities, and making merry memories-for others this season can be a difficult and emotional time that requires extra special planning + tenderness to stay joyful. No matter how you feel we hope our theme this month is comforting and fills you up with goodness. So snuggle up close to our virtual fireplace and get cozy!

Are you a Merry Maker?

…with a story, photograph, recipe, tutorial or printable to share with our community? Do you have experiences as a maker you can share to help us with holiday sales or shows? Have you ever made someone’s season a little brighter or had someone shine a light for you during a difficult year? Do you have family traditions or recipes to cheer us? Ideas on how to celebrate with our communities or plan festive gatherings? Maybe a little printable goodness or tutorials for creating a meaning-filled season? Join in this month by submitting to OMHG!

OR

…share the merry making goodness by tagging your special moments and projects this month on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook with the tag #omhg and we’ll share them throughout November to inspire us all.

What makes you merry?
