Goblins and ghosties are roaming the streets tonight hopefully dressed in their handmade finery. This year I saw some great homemade costumes: a girl in a Coke can made from recycled cardboard that even had the ingredient list hand written in both English AND French, a Mad Hatter straight out of Tim Burton with green contact lenses and all- but the best, hands down, was the astronaut suit with an ultra-realistic papier mache helmet and NASA badges hand-stitched by a loving Dad.
