Oh My Happy Halloween!

oh my handmade halloween

Are you spooked yet?! I hope you all had a deliciously terrifying but perfectly safe Halloween. We braved the wind and rain to have ourselves a freakishly good night filled with handmade goodness. Come along for a creepy adventure through the Lunenburg streets with our goulish family!

Our Halloween preparations started earlier this month with a trip to some of the numerous local graveyards. It might be a little morbid but I find graveyards beautiful and inspiring-our tombstone rubbings certainly were the inspiration behind our pumpkin carvings.

If you are wondering, that incredible building above is the Lunenburg Academy, it was the public school here up until last March and it is pure brilliance. We walked there tonight in the fog filled streets with little beasties darting about-the stuff Halloween memories are made of was everywhere tonight!

Now I’m off to go explore the spoils from our Halloween exploits and sadly take off my makeup until next year. Did you get up to any mischief tonight? I would love to hear all about it in the comments and be sure to share links to your own handmade celebrations! Happy Halloween!

Great costumes, I also like the make-up, it looks real, my Halloween party eventually was a bit boring since I didn’t plan for it, but I will take your blog into consideration for the next year, I decided to launch a big one next time!!
