I think we all breathe a collective sigh of relief when our feet touch the sand for the first time when we arrive in Prince Edward Island.

We have been drawn back to this beautiful beach on the south shore and to a cottage that we have adopted as our own for eight summers.

This year we were lucky to spend three glorious weeks here. It is a chance to reconnect as a family, breathe in the fresh sea air and enjoy that our biggest decision every day is what to eat or whether we should explore another beach for the day.

This is when I do a lot of dreaming. Everyone needs time to dream. This is the image I draw on throughout the year when I need to refocus or relax. It’s my happiest of places. I hope that you are enjoying your happy place this summer and doing a little dreaming.
